Clouds 365 Project Nominated for the 16th Annual Webby Awards

I am so excited to announce that my Clouds 365 Project has been nominated for the 16th Annual Webby Awards in the Personal Blog/Website category. This marks the 3rd consecutive year Clouds 365 Project has been a finalist!

Hailed as the “Internet’s highest honor” by The New York Times, The Webby Awards, presented by the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences (IADAS), is the leading international award honoring excellence on the Internet. The IADAS, which nominates and selects The Webby Award Winners, is comprised of web industry experts, including media mogul Arianna Huffington, Skype CEO Tony Bates, co-founder Adrian Grenier, Instagram co-founder Kevin Systrom, mobile-phone inventor Martin Cooper, and Mikael Hed, CEO of Rovio, creators of the Webby Award-winning game app Angry Birds.

“Nominees like Clouds 365 Project are setting the standard for innovation and creativity on the Internet,” said David-Michel Davies, Executive Director of The Webby Awards. “It is an incredible achievement to be selected among the best from the nearly 10,000 entries we received this year.”

As a nominee, the Clouds 365 Project is also eligible to win a Webby People’s Voice Award, which is voted online by fans across the globe. From now until April 26th, Clouds 365 Project fans can cast their votes at (Personal Blog/Website category). I will be shamelessly asking for your vote :)

Winners will be announced on Tuesday, May 1, 2012 and honored at a star-studded ceremony on Monday, May 21, 2012 at The Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City.


Texas based landscape photographer, Kelly DeLay is the creator of the Clouds 365 Project. The project started July 1, 2009 and it represents a commitment to do something creative every day. It is not intended to be separate from everyday life. “I want this practice of observation to be tied into the fabric of my life—the habit of looking up and noticing the patterns and beauty of the clouds that envelop us every single day. Embarking on this project has also caused me to think about the values that I am pursuing” The project is dedicated to art, learning, determination, processes, patterns and obsession.
