Started off this morning in Vernon, TX chasing storms with the Tempest expedition. Ended up in West TX tracking a cell from Midland to Levelland, TX where this image was taken. I thought this was a tornado, but it is actually scud clouds starting to organize and creating a wall cloud. This was a intense storm. It produced 3″ hail in Lubbock. Powerful!
